SIGTUR 8th Congress 2008 - History

One hundred and eighty one delegates from nineteen countries in the global south participated in the 8th International Congress of SIGTUR, which was held in the historic city of Kochi, Kerala, India from the 18th to the 23rd April, 2008.

The Congress was hosted by the Center of Indian Trade Unions (CITU), one of the largest and most active trade union federations in India.
